Applications
Adheres to particle surfaces, reduces attraction and contact area between particles, improves flowability, reduces dust, prevents caking. Also absorbs liquids, fats, and oils in powdered foods. Used as anti-caking agent, carrier, spray-drying aid, grinding aid, and inert filler.
