Product Characteristics

SCspearl 7000 series is a kind of powdery organic silicone resin, which is used as an additive of plastic, rubber or coating. It has the following characteristics:

Excellent light diffusion performance
Narrow particle size distribution
Excellent hydrophobicity
Excellent lubricity
Lower density than inorganic powder.
Better heat resistance than organic resin powder
Insoluble in organic solvents
Don't melt at 900℃ and the weight loss is less than 5% at 400℃
Low adhesion, good dispersibility
Keep true spherical silica particles after calcination

Application

Display and Illuminating Industries: Lighting diffusion agent for LCD/LED display panel or LED illuminator;
Synthetic Resin: Improve the wear resistance, anti-blocking and smoothness of PMMA, PS, PC, PET/PBT, ABS, EVA and other synthetic resins, and also used as the opening agent, anti-fogging agent, or lighting diffusion agent for PE, PP, PVC and other plastic films;
Rubber Industry: Improve surface smoothness and wear resistance;
Coating and Ink: Adjust glossiness and color brilliance, anti-blocking, improve wear resistance.
Cosmetic: Smooth hand feeling agent and filler (please carefully evaluate feasibility before use).
Others: Improve the dispersion，flowability or deflocculation of pigment and ceramic powder.

Typical Specifications

The typical property is not an indicator of the quality of the product.

SCspearl 7000 series become silica after calcined in air, and its particle size changes, which is related to calcination temperature. However, it keeps true spherical shape after calcination.

Result: Heating Rate: 10℃/min; Weight loss at 400℃: ≤3%; Weight loss at 900℃: ≤15%.

Packaging and Storage

This product is packed in cartons with net weight 20kg per cartoon.
The product is stored in a sealed state at normal temperature, and the validity period is 24 months from the date of production.

This product should be sealed and stored at room temperature. Customers should carefully read the product information, material safety data sheet (MSDS) and labels before use. And familiar with the product safety information, operating instructions, environmental impact, and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
